Three days before the first match of the Men’s World Floorball Championships 2018, the official press conference took place right there inside the O2 Arena, Prague.

Aiming the attendance record
One of the main goals for the organisers is to overcome the overall attendance record – 104 406 (Gothenborg, 2014); opening day record – 13 280 (Riga, 2016); and gold match record – 15 106 (Stockholm, 1996). And it’s already looking very promising. Final weekend games are almost sold out but there are still some free places left.
The tournament will take place at O2 Arena and Arena Sparta. „It’s going to be real fun. In the O2 Arena, there will be four special multimedia screens, we will try to support the atmosphere as much as possible. Lights, even some pyrotechnics. Floorball has never experienced such things we’ve prepared,“ explains Filip Šuman, president of Český florbal.
